Courage, connection, creativity: welcome to my first blog post!

Welcome to my first blog post: courage, connection and creativity! I am a passionate leader, advocate of diversity, inclusion and belonging, and coach. Each of these pursuits requires the practices of courage, connection, and creativity, and that's what this blog is about.

To me, courage, connection, and creativity exist in a mutually reinforcing cycle, and when people dig deep to unleash these qualities in their lives and in their workplaces, incredible things happen. This blog explores both my encounters with these incredible things, and the encounters of others, as shared through their books, podcasts, and other musings. And in a microcosm of the macrocosm, the blog itself enables me to live these three practices, using courage to share my writing (creativity) to connect with the online community.

A lot of my blog is inspired by books I read. I LOVE reading. Whenever someone asks me what my hobbies are I go through a paralyzing few moments of internal struggle: "Quick! Come up with something that isn't as nerdy as reading!" Followed by the involuntary external blurt: "Reading!" What can I say? I'm a Hermione. I love reading and learning and growth; in other words, I love having my mind blown -especially related to leadership, relationship, and artisanship. It's my hope that this blog connects me with other like-minded people -as well as those with diverse viewpoints! Thanks for checking it out, and enjoy!
